Established in 1989 and rooted in the vibrant city of Bogotá, Idecal has been a pioneering force in the Colombian footwear industry. From our inception, we have been dedicated to transforming plastic raw materials like thermoplastic rubber, expanded plastic, and polyvinyl chloride into versatile soles for all types of footwear.

Since 2017, our journey has been shaped by our state-of-the-art semi-automated factory, enabling us to shift our focus to the design and transformation of plastic mix compounds into PVC work boots and safety boots. Expanding our horizons, we later incorporated a fashion line featuring flats, rain boots, sandals, and loafers – all crafted from full plastic.

Our production ethos revolves around creating lightweight, comfortable, and durable footwear that seamlessly blends style with well-being. Idecal proudly serves distributors of institutional footwear, boutique clothing stores, footwear boutiques, e-commerce platforms, and marketplace partners. We also offer white-label solutions, catering to diverse industries such as agriculture, mining, construction, gardening, food processing, motorcycling, and fashion.
